Baked Fish

By dsmburton

  • 2 4-oz pieces of fish

  • 2 slices tomato

  • 2 slices onion

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put foil on a cookie sheet or cake pan. Put fish in pan and place on top of fish first the onion then the tomato.

  2. Bake this uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

  3. This technique of cooking fish draws a good portion of the fishy taste out of the fish so people who don't like strong fish flavor can enjoy fish.

I will try this, I can not eat really strong fishy flavored stuff, the smell overwhelms me. I know it may sound whimpy, but I have like that since I was a kid. The only fish I can uasually eat wiothout something besides lemon and butter is Talapia and it is very very good. Yum,Yum. Thanks for sharing this way of cooking.

Its such a simple recipe and it acts like a sponges suckig up the fishy flavor making your fish taste less strong allowing those who find fish too strong to enjoy it.
