I am 60 years young, married to my best friend for over 23 years. I have 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. I have been a diabetic since June 2008. In about 2005 I started having chest pains. I went to the ER and was admitted. The pains were so bad that I would dig my heals into the bed and my body would lift from the horrific pain. They ran some test and decided to rush me to a bigger and better equipped hospital where they did an arteriogram. They determined that I had a light stroke. It didn't feel light to me. Other test were run and I have heart arrhythmia, mitral valve prolapse, LBBB( left bundle branch block), and left side of heart is enlarged. I also have panic attacks. Anyone who does an EKG has to be told about the LBBB so as not to confuse it with another stroke but does need to make sure that is isn't another stroke. My lipids stay high and I have started seeing an Endo/Lipid Specialist. My parents and grandparents had heart problems so some of my problems are genetic. I just try to live each day with what God has blessed me with and be greatful for it.
