A new investigation hypertension drug has shown great promise in treating certain types of congestive heart failure (CHF) especially in patients who also had diabetes. The article describing the drug suggests it, "could potentially become the mortality-cutting treatment long sought for patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HF-PEF)."

The drug is still in trials but was effective for all tested groups and holds great promise for those with certain types of CHF!

Thanks for sharing, HH! Gotta run this by my docs and see what they think! Gotta love that phrase …"mortality-cutting treatment …"

Gulcher,

Good to see you out there again. Yup, I'm all on board with that "mortality-cutting" treatment!
