Well maybe not just seeing a chiropractor - but a new study suggests that chiropractic neck manipulations are associated with strokes. See this article.

Unfortunately, there will likely never be study to prove or disprove this association but it does leave me curious. How many here at HeartConnect see a chiropractor? Even if there were a small stroke risk do you think the benefits (if any) outweigh such risks.

Whats has your experience been with chiropractors? Good, bad, or indifferent?

Like any medical professionals, there are good and bad practitioners. I have been seeing a wonderful chiropractor for many years and consider her to be invaluable for my medical needs. She has gotten me through many bouts if lower back problems and helped me through a couple of injuries.

cpa,

Very true. Also, the study looked at neck manipulations and your treatment is for low back pain.
