Hey Yall, My man had a mild heart attack right before x-mass and they put one stint in. He is getting better on his diet and has stoped smokin completly. He is on meds and takes them as prescribed. Now he is short of breath and all he did was walk from the kitchen to the living room. No chest pain, no pain anywere just shortness of breath. Should we be concerned (like hospital concerned) or wait and see?
Thank you,

It's been a truly crappy morning for me and then I log on here, read your post and see the GREAT news! That, in turn, helps MY heart! Thank you for sharing! And when you stand before St. Peter on Judgement Day and he asks you for the list of good deeds from your life, please feel free to include, "Well, I made some schmuck on Heartconnect feel better when he needed it!" Congratulations to you and to Hank on the good diagnosis!

Your post is a good example of what I constantly preach. Some people never post or reply because they think their experience is trivial or simply a repeat of something someone else said. What they do not realize is that we crave every little tidbit of info we can get and that repetition helps bbuild confidence.

Bottom-line, post and reply often. Every little bit is useful.

I agree with HH it is better to be safe than sorry. When my daugther starts getting short of breath I call her Dr rigth away specially if she turns purple. Hope he gets to feel better. Good luck!!! Call the Doctor.

Shortness of breath should always be a concern. It can be symptomatic of a heart deficiency (although not the only cause). Nevertheless, it should be immediately brought to the attaention of his cardiologist. Call tomorrow. It is much better to be safe than sorry!
