Most of us are aware that high sodium levels (high salt intake) can raise heart disease risk. A new study with 29,000 participants reveals that people with low sodium levels can be at increased risk of heart disease as well. It also suggests that the risk for high sodium levels may be much higher than the current cut-off levels. You can read more about it here.
