I would like to know how are they doing? If there has been any complications after the three surgeries were done?

Redorangedog, The Boston Children's Hospital has a description of all three parts of these surgeries for Hypoplastic Left Ventricle Syndrome. If you Goggle, Hypoplastic Left Ventricle Syndrome, this will be the first hit. I have only seen this done with the first two surgeries done invitro and the third surgery done about three years later. It was successful for those candidates. I would venture to say that it would be successful when the child is older and stronger. Just the fact that your baby has made it to three years old, that would indicate an even better success rate. My very best wishes for the best outcome. Little ones are much tougher than their parents that have to be the support people. Keep your thoughts positive, doctors usually will only do these type of surgeries if they believe that they will be successful. If you are lucky enough to live in Boston, go to the Children s Hospital, if not, ask them for resources in your area. Red
