I used to take 2 diuretic type Bp meds and had the be on 30 MEQ of potassium I was taking diltiazem and HCTZ/Triamterene now I take Amlodipene and Spironolactone and take no potassium. Diuretics tend to leach your potassium so you must be careful and kepp an eye on your potassium level.

Thanks, another very instructive post. Diuretics remove fluids but those fluids can also carry away lots of needed nutrients.
