I am new to this community and just wanted to introduce myself. I go my grandkids nicname for me as Pappy. I had heart bypass surgery in 96, arteries in both legs replaced in 02 and 4 stents put in within the last 3 years. I just recently found out I have type 2 diabetes. I was a maintenance tech for 35 years and now on disability because of my legs. I still try to hunt, fish, and camp as much as possible as I am still on the under side of 60. Looking forward to hearing from the community. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hello again (still drinking the coffee you sent)! You will find this a great place to come for info so just ask away. Many of us are in the boat so we understand what you are going through.

Do try and stay active. The advice I give everyone is to stay as engaged as possible with your health. Press your docs for answers and treatements for your ailments. You have heart disease and diabetes for a reason and the overwhelming number of causes are treatable. You do not have to wait for the next stent or bypass!

I am happy to share what I know on the subject and it is yours for the asking.
