The holidays

Okay the big July 4th holiday is coming to a completion. Of course I had too much salt and I need help and encouragement about getting serious. I have chf too much background not to be serious about it. I actually crave salt, I have for as long as I can remember. Does anyone else have those cravings? Also I need some tips for staying on track his week! Thanks

i do sometimes crave salt. but people with high blood pressure and diabeties often do.i use sea salt instead of refined salt. or spices that are spicy so i'm tempted to use as much salt. but i don't crave sugar.i crave vinegar sometimes.

When I first had to change my eating habits it was a little rough, but instead of giving in I either drink a glass of water and/or keep myself busy, reading, gardening, go for a walk, anything that keeps my mind busy beside eating. Hope this helps, good luck.
