I had a mechanical valve last year at 26. All very well now :)
Hi. I just had my aortic valve replaced on the second. All went well still recovering. I had a cow valve put in. they had to completely replace mine. After youll feel different. Getting used to yout heart beating in a different way. A little pain and disvomfort.I hope all is well with you. Good luck.
I was born with aroticstynosis (still not sure how to spell that) but I had my aortic valve replaced last April. I have been having some problems, but I feel better since. I did get the pig valve…everyone teases me about it, but it's all in fun! I hope you are doing ok, if you are going to have a replacement…and I'm happy for anyone that has had replacement and is still kicking!! P.S I'm 30
How are you doing? My husband had aorta dissection repair in April 2011.
I had mitrovalve replacement surgery, last month. I am 45 years old, and I have a Mechanical Heart Valve. I also am taking Coumadin(Warfarin) for the rest of my life.
