Keloiding incisions

I had a heart transplant in April of this year. Everything is going well except for one thing: all three of my incisions (central, drain and where they removed an ICD) are keloiding and are quite painful. Has anyone else experienced this? How were they treated? I could really use some suggestions because so far all they've done is give me pain pills and tell me to put Vitamin E cream on them. The pain pills are nice but the cream hasn't helped at all.

I googled this. One point said they have had a 70$ success rate by injecting steroids in them. Another talked about using an adhesive silicon sheet. It seems like they usually itch and are hard to treat. Good luck.

You are right the cream did not help me, but time will. I had Open Heart surgery last year and can still feel pain at times at the end of my ribs and it still itches sometimes.
