Like "hello everyone, In my recent hospital stay for a full heart workup, the doctor left my charts in the room. Me being nosey i looked at them at the bottom of the blood sample work ups was a chart showing risks and a number I was given. It said high risk was anyone 5.0 or higher with a score 9.6 being someone 2x more likely. I was a 7.0 for developing heart disease. My family does have the history, my hdl was a 24, and i have sleep apnea. What does all this mean in simple terms? Does nothing i dochange or reverse these numbers? Sorry to ask so much but my cardiologist is booked to dec 16th and i am a bit worried. Of course the hospital doctor said nothing to me so, looking here for helpful hints."
